The Management Interface has combined Audit Trail, Security Manager, and Archive, what used to be completely separate modules, now under one easy to manage interace.

The Management Interface offers features, once complicated and typically required advanced IT staff to manage, it is now simple to create and manage all profiles.  You will be able to easily create or remove fields, give specific characteristics to each field, manage security levels for a document, and manage a list of field content for drop down fields.  One significant addition to IMS is the ability to create users and their security levels for accessing particular types of documents and the ability to perform various features (annotate, edit, delete, print, email, attach, or append).
A profile can be used in various ways.  Typically a profile would represent an entire department's worth of documents, or a certain type of document(s) within a department.  In some cases a profile might be created to perform a particular function using the Barcode or Audit features (see Import Services or Barcode sections of this Help Center).

To open or access the Management Interface Module, you may select the shortcut option if available on your desktop or select from your start menu (START, All Programs, Imminent Technologies Inc., IMS 4 Admin Module, IMS Admin Module).

This section of the Help Center will focus on creating and managing Profiles, Index Fields, and Users.
