Database Management

Select the "Update" icon (see arrow 9) within the row of the Field you would like to change it's Field Type Status.
Select the "Type" drop down menu (see arrow 10) to select Text (String), Numeric, or Date/time:

• Text will search any character data
• Numeric allows for special greater than, less than functionality
• Date/time allows for most features offered with Numeric, but also offers searching "between" certain dates.

Select the "Update" button (see arrow 13).

Data Lookup
This section contains the drop down data for your index fields.  You will notice that there is a row here for each of the rows in the Field Definitions table.

• Select the row containing the field you would like to add or change the drop down content for.
• Select the "Update" icon (see arrow 11),
• Type the name of the table you will be using for this drop down (see arrow12). THen click the "Update" button (see arrow 13).
  • If this will be a new table IMS will create it, and you can use the "Add" icon (see arrow 14) to enter the information you want displayed in the drop down list
  • If this is an existing table, you can use the "Add" icon (see arrow 14) to add or remove the existing data in the table.

Option 1
If you have created a table within your DBMS, select the "Update" icon (see arrow 11).
Now type the exact table name you created within your DBMS into the "Data Lookup" box (see arrow12).
Select the "Update" button (see arrow 13)
Option 2
If you would like to manage your list from within the Management Interface, Select the "Add" icon (see arrow 14)
Type or Paste from another source your list of drop down content.  One option per line.
Once completed, Select the "Add" button (see arrow 17).
