Annotations

Annotations are only an overlay of the original document and do not compromise the integrity of the document.

You must have user rights to apply annotations and to remove annotations.

Types of Annotations:

Redaction

Redactions are helpful when needing to hide content within a document or even the entire document.

Add Text
Place text anywhere on the page as a referrence, note, or to become part of the page.

Sticky Note
Sticky note works similiar to the Add Text feature, with a yellow highlighted background.

Highlight
Highlight can be used to bring greater attention to areas or text to a page.

Bitmap

Stamp
This stamp feature only comes available to those using the Smart View Scan Seat.  Contact your software provider if requiring upgrade options.


The stamp feature offers several layers of functionality.  At the basic level, you simply are allowed to apply any type of stamp desired.  This feature alone is very similiar to adding a bitmap offered with standard annotation features.
