Advantage of using Tiff over PDF
Most people today are familiar with PDF and very seldom have experience with a Tiff file. We would like you to consider the advantages of using Tiff rather than PDF as your choice of file type within the IMS database. Please keep in mind that if you choose to use a Tiff, at any time, you can convert to PDF using a 3rd party application. IMS will also export to PDF when sending email. The only disadvantage to using a PDF is that you can not insert or scan additional pages within an existing PDF.
